EU Gennesys White Paper “Study on Nanoscience and
Nanotechnology in Europe Exploiting Synchrotron Radiation
and Neutron Facilities” published
The “Grand European Initiative on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology using Neutron- and Synchrotron Radiation Sources (GENNESYS)” recently published the White Paper Document “Study on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Europe Exploiting Synchrotron Radiation and Neutron Facilities”. This complex study, carried out during 2003 – 2008, brought together leading European scientists and industrial specialists in the fields of materials science, physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering, as well as experts from the neutron and synchrotron radiation facilities. IHP materials research department is presented by several book chapters, focusing on the use of synchrotron radiation for modern nanomaterials studies in Silicon microelectronics.
