Wireless Security

Security of wireless devices and wireless connections is of utmost importance in most applications. These connections are especially vulnerable since they can be attacked directly, i.e. there is no physical protection against eavesdropping or malicious interference. What makes protecting wireless communications tricky are the scarce resources of the mainly battery powered devices. To cope with these issues IHP provides microcontrollers equipped with hardware accelerators for almost all relevant types of crypto graphic operations. In addition, detecting malicious interference, called jamming, in a light weight way is crucial and also provided by IHP tools.
