2D Materials: Materials science holds a great potential for groundbreaking progress in Silicon microelectronics. However, new materials need to fulfill multiple parameters for successful integration.
The research of 2D materials at IHP is devoted to the fundamental investigations of the processes like synthesis, passivation or contacting of these materials as well as integration of novel modules into the IHP’s BiCMOS technology. The work of this team is currently strongly focused to Graphene-related research.
